CGG does not bake in an allergen free environment. While CGG does offer select products that do not contain wheat, eggs or nuts, all of our products are baked in an environment where wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts are present in high volumes. Due to the presence of these allergens, CGG does not recommend consuming any of our desserts if you are allergic to wheat, nuts, eggs or dairy.
Acceptable payments are Debit Cards, Credit Cards or Cashapp. Checks are not accepted at this time. the perfect dessert for your event. Contact us to discuss your needs.
CGG requires a 50% non-refundable deposit for all orders. If order is canceled within 2 weeks of due date, the 50% deposit is not transferable.
The final payment is due no later than 1 week before the due date. If an order is placed and accepted within 1 week of due date, then the entire balance is due at the time of the order.
A considerable amount of time is spent planning and preparing prior to beginning an order, therefore the customer should review all the details of the invoice or cake agreement and note any changes in advance. Otherwise, the item(s) will be made according to the details noted on the invoice or cake agreement. If there is a discrepancy after the item(s) are made, that was not noted on the order form, there will be no refund given to the customer after the order is completed. Please keep in mind this is a food based art and the end result will never be absolutely perfect according to a submitted picture. However, the best effort will be given by CGG to provide the customer with the design requested.
Therefore, there will be no refunds for the following:
Orders are not 100% replica of pictures submitted by the customer
Colors used on orders are not an exact match
Minor imperfections
Refunds are provided only in the event that CGG fails to deliver an order on the date stated on the invoice or cake agreement. Further, if a customer provides wrong date, time or address for delivery, there will be no refund and CGG will not be responsible for any additional expenses that the customer incurs as a result of CGG failure to deliver an order. CGG liability is limited to the contracted value of the order.
If an order is cancelled less than 2 weeks of the due date, any payment made on the order is non-refundable and non transferable. If an order is cancelled more than 2 weeks of the due date, CGG will be happy to transfer any payment made on that order to another order within 3 months from the original due date. However, if the order changes and is less in value than previous payments made, then there will be no refund of any amount. If the customer does not fulfill the re-order within 3 months of the original due date, then any payments made will be forfeited and CGG is not crediting towards any future orders.
CGG has a reputation to maintain having beautiful and delicious cakes and it would be unfair for your guests to assume another baker/person’s cake was from CGG. CGG ask that it’s cake/items are properly labeled or distinguished from other bakery items.
Any cake, cupcakes, etc, placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to the heat/weather. Also any orders that are requested to be set up outside, has a high possibility of insects getting on the cakes, cupcakes, etc.
CGG always recommends that orders are placed in a climate controlled, enclosed, indoors area and placed outside immediately prior to eating the cake, cupcakes, etc.
CGG is not liable for cakes, cupcakes, etc once it has been delivered or picked up.
Customers are able to pick-up their orders from the following location during business hours at no additional charge. Delivery pricing depends on location.

Due to the possible logistics of scheduling multiple deliveries and set-ups each day, when delivering orders to venues, CGG requires a 30 minute ‘time range’ for delivery of the order as provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for confirming this time range with the reception/venue staff and/or wedding coordinator. Otherwise, when meeting at the noted pick-up locations above, it is imperative for the customer to be on time. If a customer is more than 15 minutes late in meeting at the agreed pick-up location, CGG reserves the right to leave and it is the customers responsibility to contact CGG to coordinate another time and location to meet.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a stable and level surface for CGG orders. If the customer is providing their own cake stand(s) and/or set-up for dessert tables, then the set-up should be completed and ready before the start of the delivery time range. If the cake stand(s) and/or table set-up is not ready prior to the delivery time range, CGG will place the order on the designated table as is and it will be the responsibility of the customer to ensure completion of set-up.
CGG will not leave the venue up to 15 minutes after delivery until the wedding coordinator or designated person confirms the condition of the cake or order. If a wedding coordinator or designated person is not available as planned, CGG representative will take a picture of the order and send the image to the email provided by the customer. This picture will serve as the condition of the order upon delivery. If any changes occur to the order after the picture was taken, CGG is not held responsible for these changes.
Upon receiving your order, you are accepting it as an approved item. CGG is not responsible for any damages to the order after delivery/pick-up. Any damages incurred to the order after delivery/pick-up is out of CGG’s control and therefore no refunds will be given.
The customer should prepare his/her vehicle for the transportation of the order. The vehicle should be clean and free of items that could roll or slide into the order. CGG does everything in its power to provide a well structured cake, but please note that cakes, cupcakes, etc are very fragile and break easily. Orders should be placed in the floor of vehicles (not in the seats) to provide a more sturdy base. If placed in the car seat, placing a seat belt around the order is recommended or every effort should be made to ensure the cake does not fall into the floor in the event the customer has to hit the brakes of the car emergently.
It is encouraged to drive carefully and slowly - no sudden stops, no sudden acceleration, no sharp turns, etc. Please keep your car cool. Also please keep in mind that a wobbly table, someone bumping the table, leaving orders in the car in hot weather, leaving orders in a warm home, allowing cats, dogs, children or even adults near the orders can cause damage that CGG is not responsible for. If a customer gets into an accident and the order is dismembered, please understand that this is beyond CGG’s control and unfortunately no refunds will be given. CGG will not be responsible for any of the damage or consequential damages or expenses that you incur.
It is recommended to keep your order refrigerated until 2-3 hours before serving. Fondant will begin to ‘sweat’ and become tacky once removed from the refrigerator. To preserve the integrity of your cake, it is recommended that after removing the cake from the refrigerator, to not touch the cake until it stops ‘sweating’.
The serving chart noted on CGG’s website, provides a general guideline for how many slices of cakes can be obtained for each particular cake size. The general guidelines are based on the industry standard slice of eight (8) cubic inches which is four (4) inches high, one (1) inch wide and two (2) inches deep. With there being variance in how cakes are sliced, CGG is not responsible to provide additional cake if the customer runs out of cake. CGG is not responsible for shortage of cake due to incorrect guest counts or failure to cut industry standard sized slices. A cutting guide will be provided upon request.
Customer assumes full responsibility for making sure all non-edible cake décor, including but not limited to, name tags, items standing up on or off of the cakes(s), cupcakes, sugar flowers, etc. are removed before it is cut and/or served. These items may be made from edible materials, but are not intended for consumption, such as wires and skewers which are added for strength and flexibility to achieve the desired appearance of the order. Thus, DO NOT EAT DÉCOR. If there are any questions regarding décor, please contact CGG.
If fresh flowers will be used on the cake, it is the responsibility of the florist to determine flower safety and safe food practices and not CGG. The customer acknowledges that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt or other contaminants. CGG will do its best to cover stems before inserting into the cake.
CGG reserves the right to take and use its own photos of cakes, cupcakes, desserts, etc created by CGG for use for marketing and promotional purposes, including advertising and promotion through our marketing partners, without compensation to the customer.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that rental equipment is returned within 3 days of the delivery date of the equipment and the 3 days includes holidays and weekend days. (For example, if equipment is received on Saturday, then the equipment should be returned by Tuesday. There is a rental cost and a security deposit. If the equipment is returned in good condition, the security deposit (not the rental cost) will be refunded within 1 week of the return. The refund will be paid back to whomever paid the security deposit in the same format in which the security deposit was paid. If the equipment is not returned or returned with broken parts or damaged, the security deposit will not be refunded to the customer and written notification will be given to the customer detailing why security deposit will not be refunded.
